Most groundbreaking ceremonies celebrate the beginning of a construction project. This one is a little different.

On 24 June, we invite you to join us at QUEENS District, a project where STRABAG will have a double role: we will build it as General Contractor and, once completed, we will move in as its first anchor tenant.

We are about to break ground on our future workplace.

Together with SPEEDWELL, we will officially mark the start of construction works for QUEENS District, a new mixed-use development in the Floreasca–Barbu Văcărescu area that will bring together offices, residences, retail, and public spaces within a single urban destination.

For us, this project comes with an extra layer of responsibility. We are not simply delivering a building for a client. We are building a place where many of us will eventually work. Which means that if something isn't right, we won't have far to go to find the contractor.
